coAction.com Update: Version 2.5 Released
The latest release of coAction contains the following improvements over its previous release:

Google Apps Marketplace Support
If you are a Google Apps user, you can now install coAction.com directly on Google Apps. This feature enables a user to log in to coAction.com using the user’s Google Apps ID and password. In addition, if a user is logged in to Google Apps, then the user can access coAction.com directly from within Google Apps by clicking the more link and selecting the coAction.com option.
Email Action from a Grid
Email addresses in grids will now allow you to click the email address and the address will be populated in the email action.
Rapid Status Change Action
A down arrow has been added to the Status action button on the Action Bar. This functionality enables you to quickly change the status of one or more items. When you click the down arrow, a list of statuses is displayed for you to choose. You click a status in the drop-down list to set it for the selected item.
Actions from Accounts View
Account object actions are supported in the Accounts grid. Select the account in the grid and use the Action Bar buttons or the right-click context menu to perform an action on an account object.
Status Column in Accounts View
A new column named Status has been added in the Accounts grid in the Accounts view to display the current status of the account.
Account-based Promises to Pay (Receivables Package)
In addition to invoices, Promises to Pay can be captured on accounts also. The promises to pay views now show pay promises based on invoices and accounts.
Account-based Disputes (Receivables Package)
In addition to invoices, Dispute Cases can be captured on accounts also. The dispute views now show dispute cases based on invoices and accounts.
Account Details View Improvements (Receivables Package)
The sections in the Account Details view have been realigned and enhanced to improve the visibility of the account information.
The sections in the Account Details view are realigned in the following order:
- Account Information
- Account Activity and Invoice Activity Rollup
- Open Invoices
- Contacts
- Tasks
- Risk Information
- Other Account Information
- Promise Dates
- Dispute Cases
Default Status Changes to Objects
To provide better user-driven control over the lifecycle of items, the default status of “New” has been removed during invoice and account loads. There would be no default status for a new item such as an account or an invoice or a claim or a support case.
An account object will no longer be “Closed” on a zero balance. Instead, the account status would be set to blank.
